There is no change or power except with Allah

 

Islam is a way of life that our Creator has favored us with. It is the way to fulfill our purpose, live a good life and it is the only way to attain eternal happiness.

So whoever Allah wants to guide – He expands his breast to [contain] Islam;

(Surah Al An’am, verse 125)

As you embark on the path of Islam, enjoy every moment of nurturing- seeing, hearing and feeling His guidance at every step.

This objective of this page is to serve as a guide for anyone who wants to learn more about Islam. It has been divided into three main sections in the order of our priorities-. The first section is about the faith. The next section is about the most important act of worship which is the prayer. The last section is about the essentials for every Muslim.

and say, “My Lord, increase me in knowledge.”

(Surah Taha, verse 114)

Faith

Our faith is our foundation. Everything we do and say is based on our faith. It is what is established in the heart and affirmed through our utterances and actions.

Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying: Verily Allah does not look to your faces and your wealth but He looks to your heart and to your deeds.

(Sahih Muslim 2564)

Prayer

Prayer is a light on our path to Allah. It is our connection with our Creator and an invocation to Him with firm faith that “He hears me and He will respond to me”.

“The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: ‘The first thing concerning which a person will be brought to account will be the Salah”

(Sunan an-Nasa’i 3991)
