ABOUT AL SALAM ISLAMIC CENTER
Ustatha Eman Saleh Alobaid
Founder and Chair of the Board, Al-Salam Islamic Center – Dubai
Ustatha Eman Saleh Alobaid studied at Kuwait University, majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Sharia and Islamic Studies. She is a licensed Islamic educator under Dubai’s Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department.
By Allah’s grace and guidance, she has approximately thirty years of experience in Islamic education and da‘wah, including around twenty-five years in the UAE and five years in Kuwait. She has attended various Islamic courses and worked in Islamic education, Qur’an memorisation, and teaching new Muslim women.
In 2025, she received a certificate of completion for reciting the entire Qur’an while reading from the Mushaf, in the narration of Hafs ‘an ‘Asim through the Shatibiyyah route, observing Tajweed rules and accurate recitation, under Shaykha Nada Ahmad Madi.
She has delivered lessons and programmes in schools, Qur’an memorisation centres, Manahil Al-Khair Center, Al Nahda Association, and government and community organisations. Her programmes have served mothers, female employees, girls, children, workers, and new Muslim women.
She teaches in Arabic and English, covering the Qur’an and its interpretation, Islamic belief and Tawheed, Allah’s Beautiful Names, Hadith, and the Prophet’s biography. Her lessons draw on recognised scholarly references in accordance with the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama‘ah, with an emphasis on applying knowledge in everyday life.
Her current work focuses on training teachers and developing and overseeing educational and da‘wah programmes at Al-Salam Islamic Center, asking Allah to accept these efforts, grant success, and bring benefit through them.
